How to buy Coal or wood from National Coal

There are two ways in which you can place an order for your coal from us: by telephone or through this website.

Ordering by telephone

You can telephone us on 01205 319198  between 9 am and 5 pm to place an order. You will speak to one of our staff who will arrange a suitable delivery date and time with you, and arrange payment.

If you prefer, you can order online through this website in 10 easy steps. Read on for more details.

Ordering online

  1. View our range of coal and wood.
  2. Click on “More Information” next to the coal or wood of your choice.
  3. Read the product information to check that it is the correct coal or wood for you.
  4. Select the amount required. The price will change automatically. Please note there is a minimum order of 1 tonne – but this can be split across two different coals i.e. 0.5 tonnes of Stovesse and 0.5 tonnes of Wildfire. The minimum order of wood is 2 cubic meter.
  5. Click on “Add to Basket”.
  6. Products you have selected are listed on the right hand side under “Your Basket”.
  7. Add more coal or wood to your basket if required, when finished click “Checkout” on the right hand side.
  8. Confirm the coal and quantities or wood quantities, and change if necessary. Fill in your details in the form provided.
  9. Click on “Purchase”.
  10. You will be taken to SagePay’s secure website, where the price to pay, and the order details will be shown again. Please be sure to follow the instructions and complete the payment process, at which point you will be returned to this website and see a confirmation message.


Payment can be made by credit/debit card over the telephone. We will endeavor to contact you within 24 hours to discuss your inquiry. We will not dispatch goods without cleared funds.
